It's possible to send puppies to Hawaii with a direct release. I brought Ginger to Hawaii just before she turned 1 years old. However from start to finish it could take up to 10 months. I already had a head start because Ginger already had her first rabies vaccine so for me it took about 7 months to do all the paperwork, vet check, two sets of rabies shots and a rabies blood test.
