I have the gold one, I got the large but Jamie is a little over 7 lbs. She is really very active (she is just 7 months) and I was worried she wouldn't stay put, but she loves the bag. Yesterday we went to the Christmas tree store and i put her in the bag inthe front part of the shopping cart. You didn't hear a peep out of her. I was in there a long time-maybe 90 minutes. For places where she is allowed, I let her head pop out through the top. However, I needed to secure the zipper in place in order to do this since she pushes and the whole zipper than becomes open. I have found a very low tech solition-I tied a twist tie to the zipper pull and then I secure it to one of the handles. It works like a charm. The bag is a little big so if Jamie was smaller, I would have gotten the smaller one since I am quite petite. However, people always think it is a purse and no one ever guesses that it is a dog carrier unless her head is out. I also like that it has so many pockets so I don't need to carry another purse. I haven't put any blankets or toys in yet but I think that is a good idea. |
