Hey you aren't far from me!! Who is the breeder?
Will she be taking the puppy to the vet before she leaves? What is her health guarantee like? What age is she letting her go?
At only 1lb, if it were me I will be holding onto that puppy for awhile as that is too small to go to a home without worry of any hypoglycemia attacks.

I have a little girl who at 9 weeks is only 1lb 5oz and will only be about 3lbs full grown and she will be staying here until she is 12weeks old or longer. Mostly likely a little bit longer as I want to make sure she if fully capable of leaving without no worry about any hypoglycemia attacks.

Check with your vet and see whether they will accept the shots.

I too do my own shots. I give the exact same brand as my vet and all the vets around here are alright with it. They do still get vet checked though as well as a fecal test and microchipped.

Oh and you have to be careful, sometimes even having shots from another vet, they will try to talk you into getting them redone or giving too many.
I once sold a pup that was vaccinated by my vet properly and the new owner's vet wanted to start the shots over. They had to switch to a different vet.
