How tragic for that little Shih-Tzu, and I can't imagine what that dad felt when he saw his only child in that big dogs mouth. Just thinking of anything like that happening to any of mine just makes me almost sick.
I've never taken mine to any dog park, and have no plans to ever take them. We have doggie play-dates each month, and they have walks, and other outings, which is safe.
When you frequent dog parks, make sure you take a fecal sample to your Vet. about every six months. |
