Jackson does this, too! ha! So I gave up on switching gradually.

I was always under the impression that it needed to be mixed (the new with the old) and a gradual switch to prevent stomach problems or diarreah.. so I was surprised to be told this more than once at a pet supply store. On another note... someone mentioned Fromms.. I have to say that mine eat Innova small bites... but at one time I wanted to switch them to Fromm and got free samples and they LOVED every type of Fromms they tried.... but we didn't switch to it because I cannot buy it locally.
I also got a Fromm sample from k9cuisine.com and Jackson LOVED it. He ate the kibble pieces out of my hand and he's picky and has never done this so I was entirely surprised. It was rare for him to eat dry dog food unless it was mixed in with wet food or something else yummy. The Fromm he will go over and chow down once a day, he seems to really enjoy it. He also enjoyed Nature's Variety Instinct.
