I should add, I didn't cut the neck up, I gave it to him whole. I don't know if this would make a difference, but there is no way, I'd ever try it again.
I see. Franklin is a gulper too so I would definitely have to supervise him if I ever gave him one. The general rule with raw feeders is to feed BIG to avoid any potential problems with choking. If you ever wanted to give the same recreational/dental benefits of a raw meaty bone you could give a chicken drumstick or pork ribs. I guess I didn't realize chicken necks were so small.
