I always give my Moms a calcium supplement. It aids in milk production and will help prevent eclampsia. I'm using a tablet that is good for a 20 pound (non-lactating) dog. Bonnie is just a little over 5 pounds so I give her 1/2 tablet twice a day with a meal. They need the extra due to nursing. She is feeding a litter of 6 and has had plenty of milk and no issues other than loose stools.
