My Bonnie had her pups on 2-13 and hasn't had a firm stool since. A lot of that is attributable to the volume and type of food (more canned food and meat, less kibble) she's eating. It's also just simple mechanics. They eat a large amount in order to be able to feed their babies. When something goes in....something comes out. It takes a while to form a good stool and their systems just don't have time to process it before they eat again. I'm feeding Bonnie about 6 times a day so there's a lot of poop, and it's all unformed.

What I'm describing is typical in new Moms, but is not uncontrolled diarrhea. I am giving Bonnie a probiotic (Proviable) to aid in her digestion. If this is sounds like your girl, it may not be such a problem but I would be concerned if it is uncontrolled diarrhea.
