Remember the information I'm giving you is for those that are attempting to grow coat. It's what I do when I'm preparing a dog for the ring. I know that care for a pet puppy coat is not as intensive, but do deserve good coat care.
I use pin brushes for the ring, but not for regular coat care, if you have tangles they pull on the coat and can cause split ends and breakage.
