This usually only happened at night when I wasn't able to clean it up right away. Now I have made it a habit to get up around 3 (that is usually when she goes) and clean it up as fast as I can. I haven't had any problems in a few weeks. But you never know with her lol. I think it may just be boredom. | I did that too - getting up a couple times in the middle of the night to check the litter box. The thing is she is not very regular on her pooping schedule. I always try feed her at the same time (give or take ten minutes) but she is more like give or take up to two hours when it comes to pooping. Now that's not easy to catch at night. I was mostly either too early (and I always try again if she hasn't gone) or too late. It's getting a little cooler at night so she try to hold it for a lot longer now (she is old enough to hold it longer also).
I know she got up real early in the morning - around 5. She usually play with her toys and her poop before I got up. It's getting harder for me to get up early these days as I have been getting up quite a few time at night since I got her.
Thanks for sharing. I got to stop this nasty habit somehow. |
