I think we finally figured out that Hot Rod is allergic to chicken. We noticed that he would start licking and chewing on his paws after chicken. I was able to give him turkey from Thanksgiving on without any symptoms. So I am thinking that turkey is okay but I don't know??
We still give Hot Rod small pieces of chicken every now and then but not like we used to. Most treats have some type of chicken in them too!
So it's been hard to find something that I know won't affect him...but like I said, we still do give him maybe a small morsel every now and then...he loves chicken. poor baby.
