Benzoyl peroxide is very drying and can cause a pretty harsh allergic reaction. I use it as a topical when I see a spot of staph infection on Lady. One treatment usually one application dries it up. My skin has not reached the raw point...yet. It would I think if I kept using it 2x a day. The redness goes away for now. Thanks LM for the link.
