I assure you, 16 weeks is still a puppy, and will be for a very long time. I got Bentley @ 12 weeks, Lexi @ 16 weeks, and Chloe @ 1 year. Chloe still acts like just as much a puppy as the younger ones. I also have NEVER had any problems with them being distressed or upset. They have ALL been very well socialized and fit right in from day 1. Taking them before 12 weeks is what does them harm, and if it is a good breeder, you wouldn't have an option anyway.
