My Yorkie still nips when he wants us to pay attention to him or play with him. I think it is a Yorkie thing. You could try spraying Bitter Apple on your feet or socks and your hands when he starts biting.
I would try just taking off a tiny amount of nail once a week or so. You can file down any rough spots. We are in FL in the winter so my dog gets his nails ground pretty well, but in the summer when we are up north where we live there is no cement or asphault so he needs to have his nails trimmed once in a while. |
