The word teacup is not a big deal to me either, UNLESS it is being used to swindle more money out of an uneducated buyer. My own (very respected) vet has used the term teacup around me (as well as purse pup). I only think it's a bad word to use if you are using it for the wrong reasons (to make more $). If someone wants to refer to their little 2 lb pet as a teacup, that's their business. It's no different then any of the other cutsie names we make up for our pets. I call Missy my "mouse", I'm sure alot of people would disagree with that term and find it offensive too.
