I started with just Joey, and he was my first dog since my last one had died a few years before. He was my husband's first dog ever. We were both 20, by the way
When we got Tank, I was worried that one of my dogs would become the favorite, and the other one would be left out...I also feared that Joey would be so jealous he wouldn't like me anymore. I love both my boys SO much, and I have a very close relationship with each. Tank is VERY attached to me, and he's closer to me than anyone, but Joey is a very social dog, and he likes pretty much anyone. other than the fact that Tank is more of a cuddler, they're both about the same. They always get the same amount of treats, toys, and love, and they do just fine. Joey actually came up and cuddled me today though, which was very nice. He has his days where he will cuddle...I would say that if you want another one, get another one
