Sherry Dee, I distinctly remember thinking when Joey was that age that he was just *never* going to get it! I was sure I was a failure at housebreaking and then in a couple more weeks, it was like a lightbulb went on for him. By 4 1/2 months, he was 98% reliable. At that point (& still now at 5 1/2 months), the only time he goes inside is on his papers first thing in the morning before I get up.
If Hayley is having trouble going to another room to use her pee pads, I'd try putting some in every room that she's in. Puppies can't hold it for very long! |
