You can expect to pay between $200 and $375 yearly for routine care depending on the vet. This may be a bit lower if you decide against blood work and urinalyses when your Yorkie is younger. This does not include dentistry or spay/neuter. These are the things that most insurance plans don't cover at all though (without a rider).
Dentals with blood work are between $150 and $300 (usually). Homecare will hopefully replace the need for dentals (mostly anyway). Then extractions would be more, etc.
