I may have to clip Kirby short too... Not sure if you saw his horrible snow balls. I posted it awhile back, I put him in a warm bath and work them off with my fingers. That is the quickest way I have found to get them off. During our last snow storm it was so wet and sticky that it stuck to him so bad and he wasn't out there long at all. I felt so bad for him!! But it did come off pretty quick, he didn't even fight the bath!!
Or the hairdryer. He was so happy to get them off of him. Poor Eddie.. Kirby feels your pain!!
