I only have one Yorkie (a male) and as far as obedience training is concerned, I couldn't have gotten more lucky. He is so smart and picks up on things really quickly. He's very food motivated so I think that helps A LOT. lol.
He has been so-so with potty training. It's partly our fault because we haven't gotten him neutered yet and was doing really, really well with potty training until he started the marking thing.
Truthfully, I would imagine that it depends more on the individual dog than its gender as to how well they train.
