He's 14 weeks old. Every time I take him to the vet, she gives me Science Diet dog food, so that's what I've been feeding him. However, his poop is terribly dry and recently he has been whining and crying every time he goes. It got so bad earlier this week, I had to soak him in water and put some vaseline on him. When he finally passed it, it was as big around as a quarter. His butt prolapsed, and the vet gave me some ointment to put on it, similar to Preparation H.

She gave me some doggie yogurt to give him, but he really doesn't like it, to try to regulate him and some medicine to give him. I think it's more of a dietary issue. Please help. I hate to see him in pain.
