I have a liver shunt survivor, she had the shunt surgery almost 2 years ago and is doing great today. If your dog does have a shunt and you don't have the surgery the outcome will be certain death. My Misty had the surger where they put the constrictor ring on the shunt to slowly close it off, and she is now a normal happy dog. |
