I only read your post and no responses so I hope I am not going to be too repetitive. It is truly amazing how much each week makes with a little puppy. They change so quickly from week to week .... with each week being very crucial in their development. 6 weeks is way to early to go. It honestly makes no sense to me that the breeder is more or less saying "Take her now or I am keeping her!". It doesn't matter how nice of a person she is, how nice her house is, or how clean her animals are....6 weeks is just way too early. The little puppy just isn't ready to leave yet. If she is truly a caring breeder she will take care of that pup for atleast 2 more weeks since she should have to begin with. I am just hoping that it isn't causing a behavioral problem that will last a lifetime. If she won't take the pup back, you will have to spend tons of your time with it and become its new Mamma and littermate...not necessarily holding it all the time, but making sure it moves around enough, sleeps enough, and that all of its needs are met. |
