I have my vet titered for all the other vaccines but the rabies is mandated by law so is no way around it unless your vet gives you a note stating that your dog is has a high risk of getting sick and can't have the vaccine.

the shots are the same but the reasoning for some is the dog has to be vaccinated at one year then the 3 year which is same vaccination kicks in as they want to make sure the dog gets full immunity before going to the 3 year. Also keep in mind it says right on the vile for HEALTHY DOGS ONLY so if your dog is not 100% health at the time of the vaccination then hold off until 100%
