Many people have big dogs and little dogs. your 45 pound dog could hurt your 6 pounder just asd easily as he could hurt the 3 pounder.
The thing with dogs, unless they are dog aggressive, they will not injur another dog.
So if you really want the dog, take her to your house and see how it goes.

Thank you i never thought of that i cant believe that did not cross my mind. gatsby and our large dog grew up together they wear almost the same size as puppies and our larger dog just shot up at six months old she still thinks gatsby is the big one and is very submissive to him but i dont know how she will do with a another small dog
by the way Gatsby is not fixed because they do not believe he will wake up if put under anesthesia im currently looking into a small dog specialist to talk about a neuter (it really upsets me when people think im irresponible its childish i know but it dose )
