This breed is so unpredictable, average canine growth charts just need to ignored when it comes to yorkie growth. It's all very dependent on this puppy's pedigree and even then she may just be a throw back from one of her distant relatives. If she's healthy, that's all that matters, just a bit more care needs to be taken when you have a tiny.
Oh! I have a girl right here that is 6 1/2 pounds that was approximately 3 pounds until she was a year old. Then bam......a growth spurt......
In the future.......try not to use the word teacup...my favorite phrase is "Teacups come with handles and saucers." | I'm with Mary. Throw the charts out. Neither one of mine quit growing until they were about 1 1/2 yrs old! Sometimes I think they're still growing. Either way - I love them SO much - it just doesn't matter.
