Hi, I had 1 yorkie owner request him but she changed her mind. I took him to get groomed for his interview and the groomer had an owner of another little dog come in- they requested I call if it did not work out. See both homes said I might visit or call once in a while. I have not called the yorkie rescues yet because well I love my dog and want to know who he goes to with the promise that if it is not a good fit they will return him. I am being very honest about the barking and potty issue. also did I mention- he only likes some people- not everyone- strange he has never been abuse as I got him as a small puppy from a breeder. He is a very grumpy little guy.
I do hope though when I find the right home he will turn into a happy dog. So I feel like if I could put 3 yrs into trying to train him- I can put a great deal of effort into finding him the right home. The perfect person: knows and loves yorkies, is okay with a full retraining mission, is okay with allot of barking, I think he might do better with a small pack, would promise to return him if it was not a good fit- please say some prayers for us.
