I begin shaving puppy ears on both sides, all the way down at a week of age and shaving every week, keeping the weight off the ear and getting them use to the vibration and eventually the sound of the trimmer. If by the 6th week they aren't standing on their own I begin taping. Someone has already recommended a great site for taping ears. Every breeder has an arsenal of methods on how to do it and will to resort to all of them on stubborn ears.
I was reading that site and I am gonna try that... see if it works... I ordered some clippers and trimmer so once I get that I will start trimming them... so far the hair on his ears is still pretty short... thank you guys
