I was able to find this link today, it gives the name of lady collecting donations, Sally Nicholson-Fisher, and it also gives the amount of money they have collected so far, two very important facts. It looks like an independent newspaper account of the story, not just a web based newspaper, where people can submit any story they like, but I'm not positive. You would probably know if the newspaper is legitimate. For example, if something like that happened in Phoenix, I could link a legitimate local paper to you. Here's the article I found.
300 sign petition to find brutal Winchmore Hill dog killer (From Enfield Independent). Please don't take my skepticism personally, I just very cautious when people request donation. I do hope they find the man who did this, he sounds very dangerous. My question is this, Is the Enfield Independent really a legitmate newspaper? I guess I'm surprised that there are no other newpaper accounts of this.
