How dare you say those HORRIBLE LIES!!! What is wrong with you? I called to give you an opportunity to own my line offering you an even trade if your puppy would par up to be of equal quality to give us both a new line. I also told you I get new lines just as quality as the ones I produce anytime I want but you live by my parents and I thought we could halp eachother out. I would visit you when I visit them. I'm a big girl and don't help but this is a hobby and I breed for fun! I continuely aim to improve my already exquisit canine companions. I'm always looking for new friends who share the same interest and values. Who isn't? I was wrong when I chose you obviously and to me that is ok. I took a chance on a random new breeder, tried to get to know her and boy do I know you now Vicki. I didn't need to make you that offer. I was trying to be nice. I would not have resold your puppy and I never said that. You are severely confused. I told you that I help my friends place their puppies in good homes and I offered my assisitance which you were so excited about and you said that was so awesome how I help out my friends "your so nice to do that" You said you that you look forward to working together, you said that you wanted to trade stud services, you said you would never except less than $1600 for a puppy and my response to that was we certainly know how much work, love and expense goes into our puppies but that you can't be greedy and sometimes you have to take the loss to get your puppy the best home while he/she is young. I offered to mentor you as well.
Most of the puppies whom are listed on my site are AKC registered and if they are a Yorkie Hybrid then then the parents are AKC. Believe it or not 50% of the calls I receive from my customers say they would never buy a purebred. Not everyone likes purebred Yorkies. Shorkies have been bred for over 23 years! There is a Shorkie club of America. My puppies are very healthy, vet checked, have had atleast 2 sets of shots and are 90% potty trained before they go, pre-spoiled and gorgeous! I did not say anything wrong and I do have honest work ethics. I have no idea why you are out to get me. I have committed no crime other than trusting stranger who said "you shouldn't trust anybody, you can trust me but you shouldn't tell people your business". "My response to you was I know but I can't help it, I trust everyone especially after we have been friends for 2 years" remember? I made you a really nice offer like I said. I don't whay you would try to ruin a stranger and her business much less someone in the same profession. Look how you have gotten all of these innocent people believing you? You have people in a uproar for what? Why? You juat are not making sense at all. I do not want any trouble. I have caused no harm to you or anyone in this world and I will continue to do business as usual. WIth my big loving heart and always putting God first. Have a good day. Sincerely, Melissa

Many of you have been around for years and have seen the good and unfortunately the bad intentions of others involving the raising/breeding/selling and buying these beautiful, sweet dogs. I think I have been under a rock. I personally have always prided myself to be an honest-respectful and responsible breeder. I surround myself with people with those qualities.
I have ALWAYS expected others to live by those rules when it comes to breeding an animal. (Yes, I have been under a pretty big rock..) It has taken me years of visiting breeders, finding a reputiable mentor, educating myself-listening to others and the ability to have the time and money involved to even consider becoming a breeder.
I do it for the love and betterment of the breed NOT the money. Any breeder doing it for the right reasons will tell you that it is not about Money....you spend more than you ever put back in your pocket.
It makes me so happy to find that right person who will give my little one the love and attention she deserves. I do my research on that person also.
Yesterday, I received a call from a local breeder that asked me if I was willing to "trade" my puppy for a dog she wanted to sell. I told her that was out of the question! I was curious as to why a breeder was calling a stranger and making an offer like this.
This woman has been breeding yorkies for years and I remind you (she has a nice website, on google and several other legitiment sites.)
She told me she adopts yorkies from a shelter for a fee then turns around and sells them on sites including yorkie talk-and makes several hundred dollars selling them to a person who see a cute dog at a great price and listens to a fictious history and once again...what a great deal!!
It is so sad. The dog may have been abused and neglected, scared of children or other animals and they will probably end up at another shelter before long.
She is also buying very cute yorkies with (AKC papers) from Mexico. I wonder if the akc paper work is fraudulent....hmmm...i vote yes....would the buyer do their homework and call AKC?
I always remind my buyers just because a dog is registered AKC does not mean that the dog cannot pass down congenital problems, temperment issues....etc
She buys these babies for $ 400 and sells them for $800-$1,000. Great deal eh?? The buyers love the pups face, the kisses and the snuggling...chaa ching...she has a buyer. Chances are this baby will end up sick. No history...no research...it is the fault of the seller and the buyer.
She is breeding some of her own yorkies When questioning her further...she says the father is "ummm at a friends house and he is getting his akc this week." She also sells, biewers, poodles, morkies...too many to list...do you see this on her site....no you don't...if you DON'T do your research you never will.
It is frustrating...to see this happening. She and (many other "so called breeders") are putting these poor yorkies through hell to make a buck to satisfy that rotating door of buyers who don't bother to do some research and are convinced they are getting the deal of a lifetime.
I told her that my business was based on integrity. To be able to look a buyer in the eye with no hesitation and know that they are getting a fair and honest deal. My dogs come from a happy home, lots of hugs with clean bill of health a legitiment family history and parents who will greet them at the door. Is the price "cheap?" No it is fair. I have a bottom line and will never go below that. My dogs are not a "blue light special."
Anyone who comes over to look at my pup and says I love him BUT there is a lady with some cute AKC pups that are selling much cheaper across town....I shake my head...tell them good luck...be careful and show them the door. After talking with her...I took a long shower...I felt sick.....yep...I have been under a rock....I wish I could stay that...tx for the time...hope this helps someone? Sorry for the spelling errors....writing from the heart...and have left my spellcheck off...
