Ok I have an update on Bella. You guys have all given me great ideas. She is getting good at sitting at the door and not going out unless she is on her leash. I also have a small weight attached to her leash so she can't run too fast. This way I can catch her if I need to. But she is doing much better. She doesn't run to the road and she comes back to me when I squeeze her toy. She doesn't eat treats (don't know why, but she won't eat them) but I do praise her and she is getting better.
