The breeding didn't go well That was one of my first questions. Momma had to have an emergency c-section, they lost 2 of the pups. The surviving pups all have hernia's. So they gave the puppies away to loving homes for free, as the pups needed additional surgery during their spay or neuter to fix the hernia's. So they were left with $2500 in vet bills, and no $ from the puppies. She then realized that breeding a smaller dog is a little harder than the big ones and decided to cut her losses and call it a day. Of course, I will be looking for ANY and all signs that this story is not true, but if it is I don't really blame her. She took care of a rescued shih tzu for a while and fell in love with the breed and decided to try it. Didn't work out so well.
