Okay, so I am going to pick up our new puppy in three weeks..she will be 12 weeks old.
I have had a yorkie before, but it has been 10 years since I have had a puppy.
I am going to buy a harness, crate and a dog carseat since it is a 4 hour ride to get home with her. Peepee pads are a must since there is snow on the ground. I will buy her whatever food the breeder is feeding her...and new bowls to eat/drink from. I have also heard that instead of gating her in our kitchen, that perhaps she would do better in the family room in an xpen with her crate and peepads in there so that it is a smaller area and we are in there most of the time.
I read somewhere that she should sleep in her crate either in our bedroom with us or even in her crate on our bed...any suggestions.
I am just getting so excited, I cannot wait to meet her.
