Lucy has mild MVD and is not symptomatic. I do not feed her a prescription food but do feed her a lower protein Wellness dry. Her vet really thinks she needs more protein than the Wellness offers (she's a puppy).

Evenings I have been adding a teaspoon of Wellness canned Salmon to get her to eat and she really enjoys it - with no ill effects.

I'm wondering if I could also consider using some of their canned Lamb to add to her kibble?

I know she cannot have beef, liver, etc - but was not sure about the Lamb.

If anyone has any thoughts on this - please share.
