I'm sorry if you feel like you are being attacked, but let me assure you, it is no one's intention to attack you in any shape or form. We are a community that loves dogs, we love our yorkies and when someone comes asking about a situation where it is obvious that your new puppy can be in considerable danger, we will speak out. We might be blunt at times but you have to understand, it sounds like puppy is coming home at any minute now and you are running out of time to make arrangements.

Castor Pollux has been sick and the people on this site want yorkie babies to be as happy and healthy as possible. the experience I've had is that everyone just wants the yorkies to be happy.
no one wants you to come home to a dead puppy or a sickly one who can't hardly stand... especially with no experience.
If I made you feel bad, I didn't mean to. i just tried to offer some help
I agree with Tecoya, no one here wanted to make you feel bad everyone wants to help; everyone wants you to be successful and give your little one the best start in life you can. I'll share something else with you, I'm a first time dog owner as well. Granted, my situation was not the same as my boy was 1 yr old when he came home, and it's only been 6 months since he's been home. I had no experience grooming, feeding, watering, walking, teaching, or potty training a dog. None. The wonderful people of Yorkie Talk showed me the way. We, the newbies that come here with questions seeking for answers need to come in with an open mind. There are tons of fabulous people that have been yorkie moms and dads for a very long time, and we are also honored to have seasoned breeders of show dogs as well as revolutionaries that are trying to make a name for the parti yorkies here with us to show us the way. All these people have so much knowledge to share, most of which have responded to your thread. The information shared here for you to read is not meant to scare you or make you feel bad, it's to help you on your journey to be the best yorkie mom you could be.

The wonderful people of Yorkie Talk have taken time out of their day to help show you that not only is this not an ideal situation for you and your new baby, but it's also not ideal for the breeder. I'm not sure if she knows the laws but going forward with bringing your little guy home so young is against the law. Links to those laws have been posted so you are aware of the situation. We are not busy bodies here to make your life miserable, we are honestly here to help. The information is here for you to use and for your baby's benefit, it's really up to you to do the right thing. Sending prayers your way for strength and I hope your baby is safe.
