NOW, I will say that I was incorrect on 1 thing, they do have a plant in the USA but they still were part of the recalls and was using the cheap crap from china...
They have plants: USA, Descalvado in Brazil, Gonzales Catan (Buenos Aires) in Argentina, Johannesburg in South Africa and Dimitriov (Moscow) in Russia. I am not perfect, I made an error, sorry...
And yes, I have a serious problem with ingredients coming from other countries when we have enough farmers here that can supply this stuff and our farmers have been hurting for many many years now. Buy from home first!! To imply that the french love their pets more is kinda silly, what does that have to do with anything, really??!! |
I really didn't mean to attack you, I'm sorry if my post came off that way. I know the company was started in France, my bag says "product of the USA", and gives the address.
If the reason you don't like the product is because it's not manufactured in the USA, I think you could be wrong. Remember too, the OP is not living in the USA, she lives in Africa. They have plants all over the world, what's wrong with that, we have members from all over the world. The company says it does not use any imports from China, where are you getting this imformation that they import ingrediants from China? You know if you post something here, 10 more people read it and think it's true, they start posting and after a while everyone thinks it's a fact. I just think if you make claims you should back them up with proof, not just linking someone's blog page.
