My vet told me you can guess pretty accurately by doubling the 12 week weight. However, I read an article written by a YT breeder and she said to double the 12 week weight and add 1 lb. to that. With my dog, that was more accurate.
I think the AKC standard to show is 4-7 lbs. so what people want now, the tiny 2-3 lb. dogs, is not breed standard any more than the larger 8+ dogs. |
