Hair in front of the eyes: depends on what kind of hairstyle you anticipate you will want as she matures. If you want short hair, trim between the eyes, If you go for the long coat, you are going to have to contend with an awkward stage where the hair wants to stick in the eyes. My oldest boy has a full coat and he had "bat wings" in front of his eyes for awhile. I used a little vaseline to smooth it down. Not pretty, but it did the trick.
Shampoos: so many to choose from including BioGroom Fluffy Puppy (available at PetSmart) or Yorkie Splash 'n Shine sold by a YT member (find in "products for sale" section of forum).
Size: a general rule of thumb is to double the weight at 12 weeks, although not every Yorkie follows the rule.
Yorkies tend to want to be close to their people, especially when they are puppies -- and you just brought your little girl home yesterday. My boy wanted to be held for almost 3 straight days when I first brought him home.
