Hi everyone!
I'm new here. I'm also new to yorkshire terriers. I do have 3 other dogs though. (a collie (Lassie), golden (Casen) and a chihuahua (Dolly)). So one more (and LAST Dog lol) small dog to add to the family. Bella is an absolute doll. She's 11 weeks and full of spunk. She def. likes to be the center of attention. My kids LOVE her. We got her a small pink bed and she loves it. I can't wait to meet you all and see all of your yorkie babies. I would appreciate any tips, tricks, grooming tips, etc on yorkies. Things they never tell you in books. lol
Some questions: Bella doesn't like the crate. She likes to sleep by my head or neck for some reason. She also doesn't like to be alone. Just got her yesterday and i'm told she is 3 1/2 lbs. How big will she get when she's an adult? Also, i've researched a little about grooming. They need baths once a week? What shampoo/conditioner etc would you recommend for a yorkie? She also has hair in her eyes. I'd rather see her eyes. Do I trim around the eyes or wait to grow out so I can put it up in a clip? What are your favorite clips and where to buy? When should she see a groomer? Does your yorkie seem to be a one person dog? Any favorite yorkie websites/places to buy things?
I'm sorry I ask so much. I'm sure I will find some answers once I look around some. I'm glad I found this site.
