I think I'm in love with that sweet Mickey !!! All of your dogs are beautiful. Regarding the AKC vs CKC vs unregistered..........
I have Annie, who is AKC registered. She is my angel, had a 6 lb mom and a 4 lb daddy. I know the breeder, even met the 4 lb. grandma, but Annie grew to be 14 lbs at 5 years old. She is healthy, happy, loving and full of energy. I didn't intend to breed her (I would want to keep all the puppies), and I wouldn't trade her for any other "standard" Yorkie....so AKC doesn't mean all that much if someone just wants a dog with a great personality and temperment. I think the guidelines were intended to keep the breed pure and within standard, but sometimes nature goes outside the guidelines.
I do feel that there is too much snobbery when it comes to
whether a beautiful Yorkie is AKC or CKC or whatever, but I guess that's just human nature.
