I feed mine in a little oval plate with raised edges. Could yours be scared of the bowl? They are kind of funny, ya know?

You could be right about being afraid of her bowl. It is stainless steel and her tag hits it when she bends down.

Great advise about the chicken. Tonight I mixed a little bit of beef broth in it and she ate it all.
