I'd try to stop it if you can - Eating grass will make dogs sick - lots of people think it helps their stomachs like it does cats but according to my vet (who I asked a long time ago) it has the opposite effect on a dog vs a cat

don't know what to tell you on how to stop it though - you may have to try commands and watch him all the time till he breaks the habit
