puppy Wow, I'm glad everything turned out to be okay. I would have pretended to call my husband, even if he wasn't home. Just call a man's name.
Something like that almost happened to my pug when he was 4 months old. My husband was outside washing the car and Bailey walking around out front of the house (he is a pug so he never runs off, just likes to stay close.) Well a car stopped in the middle of the road and they let 2 girls out who tried to call Bailey toward the car. I guess none of them saw John behind the car, who saw the girls get out. He walked up to them and they said, "Is this your dog?"
I wonder what would have happened if John didn't hear them stop. They might have scooped him into the car and took off. I try to be optimistic and hope that they were just wanting to help the dog or might have thought he was lost. I'm hoing that someone would not let their kids out to grab a puppy with a color on it out of someone's front yard. |
