looking for vet in northern westchester county - near 10562, 10546, etc. Hi All,
I'm totally new here and need all the help and advice I can get. Last Monday night I adopted 2 adult female yorkies. One is 8 years old - and looks very healthy and happy - around 8-9#, the other is about 7 years old and is very small - about 4#? and to me - doesn't look so healthy - - she's a little wobbly on her feet, and has a little "cough".
My co-worker had to get rid of them or else face eviction for him and his family. So I decided to give these sweeties a nice, loving home.
According to my co-worker they were never spayed and he says they are due for shots - but hasn't been able to find any recent vet records.
So, the first thing I know I need to do, and want to do, is get them both checked out by a vet - preferably - one who is good with Yorkies. I'd also like advice about vaccines. In my research, I've read how it really isn't necessary to get annual vaccines.
I'll try to post a picture soon.
Thanks,
Terri |
