She wanted another Yorkie so bad and he won't have anything to do with her...he is totally breaking her heart. I keep telling her to just give him time but I'm not really sure if this will turn around. We haven't had him long and I'm not sure how long it will take him to adjust. We have had him since last Wednesday night. He has totally adjusted to me...He sticks to me like glue and will not let me out of his sight. He is also scared of any kind of noise. If you sneeze, sniff, anything...is this normal?
Another thing...I kept Harley in a 48" round kennel (soft) when noone was at home with him. I've tried Cooper in the kennel and he freaks out. I guess he has never been in one. It has plenty of room. He has his bed, toys, food, water and a pee pad in it. He whines and barks constantly if you put him in it but the one thing that scares me is that he bites the net and gets his teeth stuck in it. I'm scared he is going to end up hurting himself. I really don't want to give him free roam because he is not potty trained and he is chewing on stuff. Any suggestions on how to handle this? |
Sorry I can't help, but want to wish you luck with your new baby. The only thing I can say is give him time, he'll come around.
