Jasmine is smaller than we thought she would be. We were told she would be at least 5 pounds, but she just didn't make it. Prissy, our toy poodle, is 6 pounds and we have found that we have not had to worry about her as much as we have had to about Jasmine because of her weight. We worry about her breaking a bone a lot. We did go ahead and take out insurance on her and of course have it on Prissy too. I had a tiny Chi before that lived to be 16 and I didn't worry as much about her as I do Jasmine. It may be because, here you have this tiny fragile baby that runs around like a tazmania devil with courage of a lion and an attitude of a stubborn jackass, that looks at me with eyes of a doe and then the next second rears up on her hind legs like a galloping horse. I mean with a split personality like that ........... I HAVE to worry about her.............what's a mommy to do.
