could be allergies as allergies start about 6 mos of age
if it is a large tear drop like tear then that can be a clogged tear duct but if just runny eyes and sometimes the nose runs too with allergies just clear like tear on nose -- noticed dd had teary eyes today and nose when i took her to hospital
