Cathy, I wish I could tell you what's best for her but I cannot.. Only you know your pup better than anyone.. I would however get a second opinon on this hernia and surgery . A hernia in a yorkie or any dog is never Fine.. Eventually it will have to be addressed.. Again, get a second opinion soon.
In the meantime, monitor her activity and mood very closely.. Dogs have a way of letting us know when they hurt.
