Sophie loves to ride in the car but will also pant. We got her a car seat last summer, and she seems to ride much better. I know it was bad, but she liked to sit on my lap when we were riding. However, she would also pant and would bark at everything. She was not particulary fun to ride with in town. Now our rides are much better.
