Ella is 1 year 4 months old and she still backs away from peoples hands. It's just her thing. She's also never been hurt in any way. As for not listening when you call Ella did that too when she was a pup now she's the best little girl when she goes outside, it's like potty do a few laps and then we go inside. Pet obedience class would be something i wouldn't attempt myself, but if she doesn't grow out of these issues you are having w/ her i'd say that would be the way to go.
